The Open Computing Facility (OCF) is a dedicated, all-volunteer, student-run organization at the University of California, Berkeley. Its mission is to provide free and accessible computing resources to students, faculty, and staff, ensuring that no member of the campus community is denied essential technological support. Located in the MLK Student Union, the OCF operates a well-resourced computer lab, offering services such as printing, email hosting, web hosting, and Unix shell accounts, all backed by a high volunteer-staff-to-user ratio for personalized assistance.

In addition to these core services, the OCF fosters educational initiatives, including Tech Talks that delve into new technologies and hands-on opportunities for skill development. The organization is committed to continuously securing resources to meet the evolving needs of the Berkeley community. With an open governance structure, all members are invited to participate in decision-making processes, fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment. The OCF stands as a vital hub for innovation and support within the Berkeley campus.
