The Orange County Humane Society (OCHS) is an animal welfare organization based in Huntington Beach, California. It is dedicated to protecting abused, unwanted, neglected, and underappreciated animals, while helping local pets find safe, loving homes. OCHS offers dogs and cats for adoption and provides information about available pets, adoption requirements, paperwork, and policies.

Each adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, a pre-adoption examination, vaccinations, a registered microchip, and a complimentary exam at AAA Animal Hospital. The society also assists with lost and found pets, stray animals, and owner relinquishments, and shares guidance to help people prepare for and care for pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and other animals. Community members can support its work through donations, requested shelter supplies, volunteering, memberships, fundraising events, and other participation programs.

OCHS also provides educational resources on pet health, behavior, nutrition, and safety. Located at 21632 Newland Street, the organization welcomes visitors and prospective adopters during its public hours and encourages people to contact the shelter for assistance
