Odaka Yoga is a contemporary yoga method developed by Roberto Milletti and Francesca Cassia through more than thirty years of experimental research. Inspired by the movement of ocean waves, the practice combines yoga with ideas drawn from Zen and Bushido, emphasizing adaptability, inner strength and centered movement. Its flowing sequences are designed to re-educate the body to move as a whole, support postural alignment, and strengthen and lengthen muscles through balanced, functional movement. Specific sequences address different areas of the body, with attention to preventing muscle, skeletal and tissue injury.
Odaka Yoga offers practice and professional training, including teacher programs at 250 and 500 hours, intensive training, and courses in prenatal and children’s yoga. Online teacher training is also available. The organization’s wider offering includes Odaka Zen Warrior, events, videos and community activities. Its international network spans 17 countries and includes 70 schools and hundreds of teachers, connecting practitioners and educators through shared learning and events.
