Odessa Classics is an international classical music festival founded in 2015 by Ukrainian pianist Alexey Botvinov, who serves as its president and artistic director. Created to bring leading performers and ensembles to Odesa, the festival became a major cultural platform in Ukraine and gained recognition across Europe. From 2015 to 2021, it was held in Odesa each June, presenting concerts by internationally acclaimed musicians including Daniel Hope, Yevgeny Kissin, Pinchas Zukerman, Joshua Bell and Maxim Vengerov, alongside orchestras from cities such as Zurich, Berlin and Brussels.
Since 2022, the war has prevented the festival from staging large-scale international events in Ukraine. Odessa Classics adapted by continuing its program in Europe, presenting more than 60 concerts between 2022 and 2025 across Switzerland, Estonia, Greece, Germany, Belgium, Poland and Lithuania. Its offerings center on live classical music performances, with artists spanning instrumentalists, singers, conductors and chamber ensembles. The festival marked its tenth anniversary in 2024 and has continued to organize editions in multiple European countries.
