Odessa Gallery

Odessa Art is the virtual fine art gallery of Australian artist Jo Odessa, who paints in her Melbourne studio. The gallery presents a varied collection of work created in oil on canvas, watercolour, pastel and mixed media. Odessa’s paintings convey inner life and emotion through strong colour and contrast, often in a lyrical, semi-abstract expressionist style. Her work also explores enlarged views of nature and photorealism, offering visitors a range of visual approaches and subjects.

The collection includes paintings such as Flight Country, Double Lotus and Looking, alongside portraits, life drawings and preliminary sketches. Jo Odessa also undertakes commissioned works, allowing clients to request artwork directly from the artist. Through its online gallery, Odessa Art provides a place to browse the artist’s collections and learn about her practice. Visitors can contact Jo by email or connect through the gallery’s social media links. Overall, Odessa Art introduces the work of a Melbourne-based artist whose portfolio spans expressive painting, nature-inspired imagery, portraiture and drawing.
