Mt Rothwell

Odonata Foundation is an Australian environmental conservation charity focused on saving threatened species and helping wildlife populations recover. Its work centres on nine core species, supported by a sanctuary network, conservation programs and partnerships with recovery organisations. The foundation reports caring for around 400 southern brush-tailed rock-wallabies and more than 2,000 mainland eastern barred bandicoots. Its work with partners has helped the bandicoot recover from being extinct in the wild to being classified as endangered, including through genetic rescue.

Odonata also invites the public to take part in conservation through educational and community experiences. Its offerings include school and university programs, public and private tours, corporate and community activities, venue hire, volunteering and an academy. The foundation shares sanctuary stories, conservation insights, news and events through its newsletter and media channels, and offers merchandise through its online shop, including collaborations with Soft Power Studio and Will & Bear. Donations support its conservation work; eligible gifts of $2 or more are tax deductible.
