ODRAZ-Sustainable Community Development gathers experts from various fields who design and apply the sustainable development concept for local community benefit. We encourage and implement changes leading towards sustainability, operating at various levels, from local to national and international. It cooperates with civil society organizations, public, professional and business organizations, networks, and experts. Many collaborators and volunteers take part in its activities, in addition to employees. We act as a Secretariat of the CIVINET Slovenia-Croatia-SEE Network, the biggest CIVINET network in Europe. What do WE do? • Implementation of non-formal education for sustainable development. • Implementation of thematic workshops, consultations, and expert discussions. • Implementation of activities and projects in the field of social innovation. • Development, implementation, and promotion of participatory management methods. • Encouragement and support to the networking of stakeholders regarding sustainable development issues. • Encouraging networking of representatives of cities and other stakeholders, and transfer of knowledge and good practice in the field of sustainable mobility. • Encouraging the participation of citizens involvement in decision-making processes. • Active contribution to shaping and monitoring of the implementation of public policies in areas that are related to ODRAZ's work and activities. • Collecting, exchanging and publishing of information and sharing experience. • Cooperation with relevant stakeholders in formulating strategic directions, implementing and monitoring sustainable local and rural development projects. • Strengthening capacities of civil, public and business sector for multi-sectoral development partnerships. • Encouraging media to enhance their interest on sustainable development issues. • Contribution to the dialogue with the European institutions on development issues.

About ODRAZ-Sustainable Community Development

ODRAZ is a brand that focuses on sustainable community development. As an organization that promotes and supports sustainability-oriented changes, ODRAZ aims to create a positive impact on the environment and address climate change issues. They offer various products and services to achieve their goals.

One of the services offered by ODRAZ is the opportunity to participate in youth exchanges. They invite young individuals aged 18-29 from Croatia to take part in the BigFoot - Small Steps project. This project, funded by the Erasmus+ program, will be held in Šibenik from October 27 to November 5, 2023.

Young participants from Croatia, North Macedonia, Turkey, Portugal, Italy, and Romania will come together to discuss climate change and environmental sustainability.
