ÖJV Brandenburg

ÖJV Brandenburg-Berlin e.V. is the Ecological Hunting Association serving Brandenburg and Berlin. It promotes modern, environmentally responsible hunting that supports sustainable agriculture, nature-oriented forestry, and nature and species conservation, while helping prevent ecological and unreasonable economic damage in cultivated landscapes. The association advocates for hunting practices that contribute to healthy, future-ready forests and engages in public discussion of hunting policy and legislation, including regional rules and wolf management.

Members and interested visitors can find news, event information, regional contacts, and opportunities to join. The association connects members across local areas, encourages exchange—including for new hunters—and supports joint activities to promote forest-friendly hunting. Its working groups focus on shooting, wolves, and drones. The website also provides downloads and links to further information from the wider ecological hunting network.

The ÖKOJAGD magazine, published by the national Ecological Hunting Association, covers hunting and field practice, wildlife biology, nature and animal welfare, and changes to hunting regulations. It is published four times a year and can be ordered by subscription.
