The Off Duty Fishing Series (ODFS) is a Southwest Florida tournament and apparel brand founded by local firefighters, charter captains, and avid anglers Alec Dilallo and Ryan Joyce. Created to support offshore fishing and give back after Hurricane Ian, the organization brings people together through fishing events inspired by the Florida lifestyle. Its annual tournament series includes the Red Grouper Bash and Red Snapper Bash, with proceeds and community support directed toward local communities in need.
Following its first Red Grouper Bash, ODFS reported awarding more than $25,000 in cash prizes and donating $15,000 to the Fort Myers Beach community. The series combines competition, fishing, and charitable giving, reflecting the founders’ connection to Southwest Florida and its residents. ODFS also sells official merchandise online, including short-sleeve cotton T-shirts in several styles and colors, women’s T-shirts, an ODFS OG hat, and a dry-fit hat with a patch logo.
