About Official Wicklow GAA
Wicklow GAA, also known as the Wicklow County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), is the governing body for Gaelic games in County Wicklow, Ireland. They are responsible for organizing and promoting Gaelic football and hurling in the county. Wicklow's Senior Football team competes in the Leinster Senior Football Championship, although they have had limited success at this level.
Notably, they haven't won a Senior title in either code, making them one of only two teams in Ireland not to achieve this feat. On the other hand, Wicklow's Senior Hurling team competes in the Christy Ring Cup, the second tier of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship. Despite not securing a championship title, Wicklow has reached the final in 2011 and 2012.
