Off the Chain & OTC Pet-homing Corp is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Toney, Alabama, focused on helping local pets and the people who care for them. The organization rescues dogs and cats, working with municipal shelters and other rescues to socialize animals and help them find permanent homes. Its rescue program uses both home-based foster care and a kennel facility, and it welcomes foster and adoption support to help meet demand.
Off the Chain also provides tailored pet training and behavior-management support. Services are designed around each animal’s needs and the circumstances of its family, helping owners and adopters communicate more effectively with their pets. The organization aims to strengthen these relationships, support pets in staying in their current homes, and prepare homeless animals for adoption.
Prospective adopters can meet available pets at events hosted with Petco and Hollywood Feed. Off the Chain also offers pet sitting and dog walking, and accepts donations to support its rescue mission.
