Oftersheimer SC

Oftersheimer SC e.V. is a sports club in Oftersheim, Germany, offering karate and health-focused fitness training for children and adults. Its instructors are trained athletes with a scientific background, experience in karate, and qualifications in back training and core exercise. The club emphasizes enjoyment, respect, personal development, and a welcoming community rather than competition, with the aim of helping participants improve their health, fitness, coordination, and self-confidence.

Karate classes are available from age four and introduce participants to the principles of this martial art, including respect for others and confidence-building. The club also provides preventive back and core training, designed to strengthen the body’s centre, support mobility and flexibility, and help prevent back problems. These courses are described as eligible for full health-insurance funding. Other offerings include small-group sessions, personal training, and trial classes by request. Training takes place in the club’s own air-conditioned facilities at Saarstraße 19. Classes continue during school holidays, and prospective members can contact the club to ask questions or arrange a trial session.
