OHEMA is an emerging luxury brand creating collectible objects that celebrate culture, connection and the art of gathering. Shaped by African and Caribbean heritage and a diasporic perspective, the brand reconsiders conventional ideas of beauty and luxury through a visual language rooted in its own identity. Its name draws on Ohemaa, meaning “Queen,” reflecting the pride, presence and sense of legacy at the heart of the House.

OHEMA’s debut, the Royal Court Collection, reimagines the playing-card deck through a Black diasporic lens. Featuring Black Kings and Queens, intricate symbolism and champagne-gold detailing, the cards turn a familiar object into a contemporary expression of culture and storytelling. The luxury boxed collection includes a companion collector’s book and is designed to be played, displayed and shared. OHEMA presents its pieces as objects to live with, gather around and pass forward, inviting people to put aside distractions and reconnect at the table. The brand also welcomes enquiries about retail and stockists, collaborations and partnerships, and press features, while its Founding Circle offers early access and collection updates.
