Working around the demands of childcare, housework, and jobs, the team creates playful projects designed to make raising children more enjoyable and everyday family life a little easier. Its work includes interactive devices and digital tools, often combining hands-on making with technologies such as smart speakers, motors, and apps.

Featured projects include Pokotter, a device that lets someone share a baby’s movements with a person who is elsewhere: tapping an app makes a motor in a belt vibrate. Katadzu Kenya is a talking toy box that praises children when they put toys away and gently reminds them to tidy up when toys are removed. The team also publishes Alexa skills, including Daruma-san Game, a voice-based take on the children’s game, and Childcare Memo, which lets users record feeding and other childcare notes by voice and ask when an event was last logged.
