OK2BME

OK2BME is a vital support program dedicated to assisting Two-Spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, and questioning (2SLGBTQIA+) youth and their families in the Waterloo Region. Operated by Camino Wellbeing + Mental Health, OK2BME offers a wide range of confidential services designed to foster well-being and resilience. The program features individual and family counselling, quick-response sessions, and various youth groups, including recreational activities and leadership teams for ages 12-18.

Additionally, OK2BME hosts specialized groups like NeuroQueer Quest and Rainbow Rhythms, a music therapy group, enhancing community connections and personal growth. They also provide resources for navigating gender-affirming care and support for families in transition. With a focus on inclusivity and empowerment, OK2BME is committed to creating a safe space where youth can explore their identities through ongoing events, educational workshops, and community engagement activities.
