About Okambara
Okambara Elephant Lodge is a perfect destination for families traveling in Namibia. With activities such as game drives, hiking trails, cat feedings, and much more, boredom is never an option here. The lodge and farms are managed by the Schmitt family, who have been living in Namibia since 1990 and are fluent in German, English, and Afrikaans.
Situated in the heart of Namibia, the lodge spans over 15,000 hectares of farmland, consisting of mountains and savannah bushland, allowing guests to experience the unique Namibian nature in peace on foot or guided tours with our safari vehicles. Our diverse wildlife includes elephants, oryx antelopes, giraffes, wildebeests, impalas, leopards, cheetahs, and many more. Additionally, guests can indulge in delicious meals throughout the day, including a hearty breakfast, lunch, and coffee with freshly baked cakes, leading up to the highlight of the day, a three-course dinner.
