Okanagan Prewire

Okanagan Prewire Ltd. provides residential low-voltage prewiring and technology planning for new homes and renovations in Kelowna and the Central Okanagan. The company helps homeowners decide where connections, equipment, and infrastructure should go before drywall and finish work make changes more difficult. Its services include structured wiring for internet, Wi-Fi, media, and everyday home systems, along with smart-home readiness for lighting, shades, climate control, security, and automation. Okanagan Prewire also plans Control4-ready wiring, home theatre and media setups, and security and access infrastructure for cameras, doorbells, and related equipment.

The process begins with a discussion of the homeowner’s plans and priorities, followed by mapping wiring locations, equipment, and potential future upgrades. During prewire installation, cable runs are placed, protected, and labeled to support a clean finish. Homeowners can request a project consultation for a new build, renovation, home theatre, smart-home planning, or security project. Okanagan Prewire encourages clients to start early, while the structure is open and options are easier to plan.
