OKC Skateboard Lessons

OKC Skateboard Lessons provides skateboarding instruction for all ages throughout the Oklahoma City metro area. Founded by longtime skateboarder Coty McClung, the program draws on his more than 20 years of skating experience and teaching in the area since 2015. His wife, Sarah Whaley, is a co-owner and instructor, helping make lessons available to local students.

The program offers lessons, school-break camps, and schedules for both indoor and outdoor skateboarding. Its website directs families and prospective students to information about lesson times, camps, locations, and the Kinda Mellow Indoor Skatepark. Students can contact Sarah by text or phone to arrange a first lesson, while a newsletter provides updates about camps, schedules, events, and other news.

Over the years, OKC Skateboard Lessons has partnered with organizations and local businesses including the OKC Parks Department, Oklahoma City Girls Art School, the Plaza District, and OKC Soda Co. These partnerships reflect the program’s connections within the Oklahoma City community.
