Okinawa Budo

Okinawa Budo Murcia is an authorized school of Okinawa Budo Kaisai Shorei-Kan, serving the Region of Murcia and the wider south of Spain under the direct guidance of Saiko Shihan Toshio Tamano. The dojo teaches traditional Okinawan martial arts in small groups of around 15 to 20 students, focusing on steady progress, practical self-protection and personal development rather than competition. Kaisaido Shorei-Kan combines kata study with self-defence and is available from age five.

Kobudō Shorei-Kai teaches the use of traditional Okinawan weapons, including the bo, tonfa, sai, nunchaku and kama. Daruma Taiso is a low-impact practice of more than 300 exercises drawing on yoga, do-in and karate, suitable for a wide range of ages. The school also offers self-defence training for children, women and adults, with an approach that prioritizes awareness, distance, verbal boundaries and escape before physical techniques.

Classes are offered throughout the week, and prospective students can reserve a place and try a first class free
