Oklahoma Children's Theatre is a brand dedicated to providing extraordinary live theatre and interactive educational experiences for young audiences. Our mission is to inspire young people to visualize their potential, enhance family relationships, and invest in the future of our communities. We offer a diverse season of shows, with options suitable for Pre-K through 6th grade.
Our productions take place in three performance spaces on the OCU campus and include approximately 70 performances per season. These include both daytime weekday field trip performances as well as weekend performances for families. In addition to our regular season, we also collaborate with TheatreOCU for one co-production per season, which caters to a more mature audience of 5th grade and up.
These shows feature talented OCU students in key roles. Furthermore, we produce a dedicated touring show each year that travels to approximately 25 to 30 different communities throughout the state. We are proud to bring the arts to rural areas, where children may not have the opportunity to visit us for a field trip.
