OK Whatever

OK Whatever is a leading weird news website that creates fun, original articles and specializes in strange journalism. Founded in September 2018 as an alternative news publication, it is dedicated to all things weird and strange. While they no longer publish new content, their past articles are all preserved on the website.

The website is the product of a widespread, open-minded collection of artists and writers who reported on odd, obscure, and interesting true stories. The passion project of California writer Jessie Schiewe, OK Whatever won the Webby Award for Best Cultural/Lifestyle Website in 2021. Their highly researched articles and out-of-the-box focus regularly attracted millions of readers and even led to copycat reporting on multiple occasions.

Despite being a renegade publication, OK Whatever broke original news articles that were later picked up by larger, national and international publications. The website credits numerous artists, writers, photographers, editors, and contributors for its success and thanks its readers for their attention and support
