OlaCare

OlaCare Support Services is a Townsville-based disability support organisation established and operated by experienced Registered Nurses. It supports people of all ages and a wide range of disabilities, including physical, intellectual, visual, acquired brain injury and mental health conditions. OlaCare’s person-centred approach puts clients in control, tailoring support to their needs, preferences and goals so they can build independence, participate in their community and maintain their chosen lifestyle.

Services include assistance with daily living, such as personal care, mobility, meal preparation, medication management and household tasks. The team also supports community participation, offers 24-hour Supported Independent Living, and provides respite care and short-term accommodation with care, meals and social activities. Registered and Enrolled Nurses deliver in-home community nursing, including complex and end-of-life care. OlaCare also offers disability and NDIS support coordination, NDIS plan management and disability care. The organisation is committed to cultural safety and to reducing access barriers for people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
