About Oldcomp
OldComp.cz is a Czech community discussion forum for enthusiasts of vintage computers and related technology. It brings together hobbyists, collectors, programmers, and repairers to share knowledge, ask questions, and discuss both classic machines and modern projects inspired by them. The forum covers a wide range of platforms, including Amiga, Atari, Commodore, ZX Spectrum and Sinclair systems, Apple computers, Sharp machines, older PCs, and computers made in Czechoslovakia. Members can explore dedicated sections for hardware, software, games, demos, operating systems, programming, emulation, and beginner support.
Beyond platform-specific discussions, OldComp.cz provides spaces for electronics repair and construction, 3D printing cases and components, retro game remakes, graphics, music, and useful literature. The community also shares news, videos, repair techniques, and information about meetings, exhibitions, and other events. Site resources include an OC Wiki, an OC GitHub presence, and a FAQ, alongside forum rules and community updates. OldComp.cz serves as an extensive knowledge-sharing hub where people can preserve, understand, repair, and enjoy historical computers.
