Old Hickory Flyers (OHF) is a Tennessee flying club organized in 1957 and chartered by the state that same year. Its purpose is to promote safe and economical flying among its members. The club has owned and operated various aircraft over the years and currently operates one instrument flight rules (IFR)-equipped aircraft, based at John C. Tune Airport near Nashville, Tennessee.
In August 2020, OHF acquired N284CD, a 2005 Cirrus SR22 GTS. The aircraft combines Cirrus performance with the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System, designed to provide an additional safety feature. Its equipment includes an Avidyne DFC90 digital autopilot, two Garmin GTN650 WAAS/GPS/NAV/COM units, a GTX345 transponder with ADS-B, an Avidyne Entegra primary flight display, and an Entegra EX5000 multifunction display. It also has a Garmin four-place intercom and GMA340 audio panel. Through its aircraft and membership-focused mission, Old Hickory Flyers supports members seeking safe, cost-conscious flying. The club can be contacted by phone or email for further information.
