About Olimpiadas Especiales Venezuela
Olimpiadas Especiales Venezuela is the largest inclusive movement in the world for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Their mission is to improve the quality of life for this population. Through sports, health, education, and leadership programs, they empower individuals with intellectual disabilities and aim to eliminate discrimination.
Olimpiadas Especiales Venezuela offers 24 Olympic-type sports for both summer and winter, as well as Unified Sports that bring together individuals with and without intellectual disabilities to train and compete as a team. They also have a range of programs focused on the special care of their athletes, families, and communities, promoting personal growth, health, skill development, and more. By participating in activities, individuals with intellectual disabilities discover new abilities and a sense of empowerment.
