Cotswold Olimpicks, a historic celebration of traditional British sports, invites participants and spectators to its 412th anniversary on May 31, 2024, at Dover's Hill, Chipping Campden. This unique event, renowned for its world-famous shin-kicking championship, pays homage to Robert Dover, the games' founder dating back to 1612—centuries before the modern Olympic Games. The schedule features an array of competitions, including the Champion of the Hill and Tug O’ War, along with exhilarating running races.

Emphasizing community involvement, the games rely on passionate volunteers and local sponsorships, aiming to raise around £25,000 annually for the event’s sustainability. Each year, the games bring together a crowd celebrating not only the athletic spirit but also the rich tapestry of cultural heritage that has evolved through history, including influences from Shakespeare and the Civil War.

Join us for a delightful blend of competition, food, music, and community spirit—experience the agelessness of joy as the festivities culminate in a magical hillside procession.
