Associazione OlivaMi

Olivami is a nonprofit association helping restore olive groves in Salento, Italy, after devastation caused by the Xylella bacterium. Through a sustainable, participatory adoption program, individuals and businesses can support local farmers and the planting of new olive trees. Each adoption includes a personalized certificate, and adopters can choose a name for their tree. The association sends an annual supply of extra virgin olive oil produced from the groves, with quantities increasing as the trees mature. Olive adoption plans range from one tree to larger groups, and the oil is described as having certified quality and provenance.

Olivami also offers tree adoptions as gifts, corporate gardens, regeneration projects, carbon credits, and solidarity favors for events. Participants can visit their adopted trees, join an olive harvest experience, and access partner accommodation at a discounted rate. By connecting support for local agriculture with tree planting and olive oil, Olivami aims to help farmers return to their fields, renew the Salento landscape, and contribute to carbon absorption.
