Olivastri Restauri

Olivastri Restauri is an artisan restoration workshop in Florence, located on Via dei Velluti in the Santo Spirito district. Led by Renato Olivastri, the workshop specializes in restoring wooden works, including antique furniture, marquetry, frames, candlesticks, and wooden supports for panel paintings. It is particularly experienced in restoring Boulle-style furniture, a craft Renato learned from his master. For projects requiring additional expertise, the workshop collaborates with professionals in gilding, sculpture, decoration, and painting.

Alongside restoration, Olivastri Restauri creates commissioned marquetry in both antique and contemporary styles. The workshop also treats wooden furniture against wood-boring insects, using modern ecological methods designed to be effective while respecting the object. Customers can explore a portfolio and shop, or contact the workshop to discuss restoration and custom work. Olivastri Restauri also offers personalized courses and workshops in wood marquetry and antique furniture restoration, sharing practical skills in these traditional crafts. The business provides contact options through its website and social media.
