Olives Allied Health Services (Olives AHS) is a speech pathology provider serving the Gold Coast and Logan regions of Queensland. The practice supports people of all abilities and across the lifespan, helping them communicate effectively in everyday life and participate as valued members of their communities. Its services are guided by a neuro-affirming approach, evidence-based practice and goals tailored to each client’s needs.
Olives AHS offers assessments of speech, language, literacy and social communication, as well as alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), assistive technology and swallowing needs. Therapy is delivered in intervention blocks and may address communication or swallowing difficulties. Additional support includes mealtime advice, low-tech resource development, NDIS assessment and progress reports, and coaching for families and carers.
The service pathway starts with an online referral, followed by an initial consultation and commencement of services. Olives AHS supports NDIS participants with plan-managed or self-managed plans, accepts eligible Medicare referrals and offers private services. Its clinicians are Certified Practising Members of Speech Pathology Australia.
