Olney Runners is a friendly, inclusive running club welcoming people of all ages, backgrounds and fitness levels. With around 200 members, the club brings together everyone from those new to running to experienced athletes, including recreational runners and podium finishers. To help members find a suitable pace and level of support, the club is organised into four groups.
Olney Runners offers club training and events, with a coaching schedule, race calendar and cross-country activities to help members stay active and pursue their goals. The club also provides information for juniors and prospective members, alongside a kit shop for club clothing and equipment. Its community extends beyond running: members share updates and conversation through a private Facebook page, while Spond helps them sign up for sessions and keep up with training and social activities.
The club takes part in community events and fundraising, including a charity 5K day that raised money for Al’s Pals. Affiliated with England Athletics, Olney Runners combines fitness and performance with friendship, encouragement and community.
