Olton Mere SC

Olton Mere Sailing Club is a welcoming sailing and community club based on a 39-acre lake in Solihull, close to Birmingham. It offers dinghy sailing for a wide range of abilities, from beginners taking their first steps on the water to experienced racers seeking regular competition. Members can take part in training, coaching and racing, while youth and community organisations are also hosted to help more people experience water sports. The club promotes an inclusive, supportive environment where members encourage one another on and off the water.

Beyond sailing, Olton Mere provides an active social programme, including regular gatherings at the club bar and seasonal events. The grounds offer opportunities to enjoy walks amid local nature and wildlife; the site is classified as a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
