About World Olympians
World Olympians Association (WOA) is an organization dedicated to supporting the over 100,000 living Olympians worldwide. Their mission is to work for the benefit of all Olympians at every stage of their lives. With 108 National Olympians Associations (NOAs) across five continents, WOA helps organize events and runs projects that contribute to local communities, based on the Olympic ideals.
WOA offers various programs and grants to assist NOAs and Olympians. The NOA Development Grant provides financial aid for running programs, while the Service to Society and Service to Olympians grants support longer-term projects benefiting local communities. Recognizing the unique potential of Olympians, WOA helps them transition beyond competitive sports through benefits such as online university scholarships, mentorships, job placements, and life coaching programs.
Olympians have the power to use sports' neutrality and social cohesion to serve society and act as role models, promoting values of excellence, teamwork, and discipline. As an organization, WOA aims to continue fostering the spirit of Olympism and supporting Olympians worldwide, contributing to a better society for all
