Olympia's Tour

Olympia’s Tour is the Netherlands’ oldest cycling stage race, with a history dating back to its first edition in 1909. Organized by Courage Events, the race has long served as an important development platform for promising amateur riders from the Netherlands and abroad. Strong performances have helped many participants earn opportunities in professional cycling, including riders such as Servais Knaven, Dylan van Baarle, Fabio Jakobsen, Jasper Philipsen and Maikel Zijlaard. Jonas Vingegaard also gained experience in the race, learning to ride in crosswinds.

Held in early spring, Olympia’s Tour is known for fast, demanding stages where crosswinds can split the peloton and change the race at any turn. The routes also take in the hills and climbs of the Netherlands. The event’s website provides stage schedules, route maps, technical information, news and results, as well as details for press accreditation and local residents. Courage Events also organizes other cycling events, including the Toekomst Cup, Simac Ladies Tour and Betcity Elfstedenrace.
