About عُمان للإبحار
Oman Sail is a national initiative and OMRAN Group company established in 2008 to rekindle Oman’s maritime heritage and use sport to build confidence and practical life skills among Omanis. Its work connects sailing with education, tourism, community development and international sporting events, supporting Oman’s profile as a maritime destination. The organisation introduces young people to sailing and runs programmes including Youth, High Performance, Women’s Sailing, SailFree and Community Sailing.
Its activities include events and competitions in Oman and abroad, with featured events such as Mussanah Race Week and the Arab Women’s Sailing Championship. Oman Sail also offers commercial services spanning SeaOman, marina management, a marina workshop, and corporate personal development. Through its schools and programmes, it has introduced more than 50,000 Omani youth to sailing.
The organisation reports 161 medals, 57 events, three world records and an economic impact of 69 million. Based at Al Mouj Marina in Muscat, Oman Sail works with national and global partners and promotes the country’s maritime culture and opportunities
