Ombar Chocolate

Ombar is a chocolate brand on a mission to make chocolate healthier, more ethical and sustainable, with cacao at the heart of every bar. The company uses organic cacao and coconut sugar, focusing on natural ingredients and bold flavour while avoiding refined sugar and artificial additives. Its products are certified vegan and free from gluten and dairy.

The range includes dark chocolate in several cacao strengths, smooth dark bars, coconut milk chocolate, creamy white and blonde chocolate, and filled varieties such as pistachio cream, hazelnut truffle and almond butter. Other flavours include salt and cacao nibs and matcha blonde. Bars are available in different sizes and multipacks, with one-off purchases and recurring subscriptions offered through the online shop.

Ombar sources native cacao directly from small farmer cooperatives in Ecuador and says it pays farmers above Fairtrade prices to support stable, sustainable livelihoods. Its chocolate is made in Cambridge by a team that develops and tests each bar for flavour and quality.
