The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery & Biergarten, Charlotte's oldest standing brewery, is dedicated to crafting fresh, pure, premium-quality beer. Since 2009, we have been following the world's oldest beer purity law, the German Reinheitsgebot, which ensures that our beer contains only four ingredients: water, malt, hops, and yeast. We never compromise on quality by using cheap ingredients, artificial flavors, or added colors.

Our commitment to excellence means that we don't let cost or speed affect the brewing process. Located at 4150 Yancey Rd., Charlotte, NC, our brewery is easily accessible by the Scaleybark light rail stop. The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery is a family-friendly establishment, with a designated family zone in the back of our biergarten for kids to play.

We also offer limited gluten-free and vegetarian food options, as well as non-alcoholic beverages. At our brewery, you can enjoy live music every Friday and Saturday evening, sample our flagship beer, Copper Altbier, or choose from a variety of red and white wines, local ciders, and hard seltzers. We also sell growlers and kegs for you to take our beer home.
