Ombues

OMBÚes is a dynamic project dedicated to exploring and promoting the connection between nature and urban landscapes, particularly in Fray Bentos. Through a multifaceted approach, the initiative encompasses various activities, including organized symposiums focused on landscape and cartography, which delve into the intricacies of spatial planning and environmental stewardship. OMBÚes offers an engaging app designed to enhance public interaction with local ecosystems and cultural heritage.

Additionally, the project features guided visits and exhibitions that aim to illuminate the industrial and natural landscapes of Fray Bentos, fostering a deeper understanding of their significance. Supported by an accomplished academic committee, OMBÚes also recognizes innovative contributions to urban planning through initiatives like the National Award for Territorial Organization and Urbanism. By combining educational opportunities with community engagement, OMBÚes serves as a valuable platform for both learning and appreciation of environmental values. Join them in their mission to imagine, measure, and order the relationship between nature and urban life.
