Omitofa

Omitofa Kung Fu Shaolin is a martial arts club offering Kung Fu Wu Shu in the Shaolin Quan style in Saint-Georges-d’Orques, near Montpellier. Its classes welcome children from age five, teenagers and adults aged 14 and over, whether or not they have previous sports experience. Students are encouraged to learn at their own pace and work toward personal goals in a friendly, supportive atmosphere.

Training develops flexibility, coordination, balance and self-discipline, while introducing practical skills such as self-defence, combat techniques, punches and kicks, sweeps, throws and the handling of traditional weapons, including the staff, sabre and spear. The club also offers Qigong as a complementary practice, with exercises focused on breathing, relaxation, muscular and tendon strength, and body awareness. Children and teenagers learn martial arts fundamentals and values intended to help build confidence.

Adult classes are organised by level and can support recreational practice, wellbeing or further development. Sessions take place on Saturdays at the Salle des Arts Martiaux in Saint-Georges-d’Orques, with age-group classes scheduled throughout the day
