OMS Olomouc

Českomoravská myslivecká jednota, z.s., Okresní myslivecký spolek Olomouc (OMS Olomouc), supports hunters and promotes the development of hunting traditions and nature stewardship in the Olomouc area. The national association has brought together hunters since 1923 and serves around 60,000 members, while also engaging the wider public. Its activities include education, community events and initiatives that encourage care for wildlife and the landscape.

OMS Olomouc offers courses and training, organizes hunting examinations and tests for hunting dogs, and holds falconry examinations. Its program also includes canine and shooting events, trophy exhibitions, youth activities and hunting clubs. The organization helps children and young people learn about nature through educational programs and the long-running Zlatá srnčí trofej competition. It also provides information on hunting legislation, membership and events, and makes hunting calendars available through its office. The basic annual membership contribution with insurance is listed as CZK 1,300, with a reduced rate of CZK 800 for students and people aged 65 and over.
