OMS Třebíč

The Třebíč District Hunting Association is a regional branch of the Czech-Moravian Hunting Union, a membership organisation dedicated to hunting, wildlife, and the preservation of related traditions. It serves members across the administrative districts of Moravské Budějovice, Náměšť nad Oslavou, and Třebíč, an area with 110 recognised hunting grounds covering 135,052 hectares of hunting land.

The association supports hunting as a practical activity connected with wildlife and the ecosystem, as well as a community tradition and part of Czech cultural heritage. Its work includes cultural and educational events, youth hunting clubs, and activities that introduce children to nature. It also organises examinations for hunting dogs and provides access to a shotgun shooting range. Members and local hunting communities can take part in meetings, professional activities, and events such as trophy exhibitions. The association shares information about membership and insurance, upcoming events, and relevant hunting matters. Through these services and activities, it helps connect hunters, promote knowledge and responsible engagement with wildlife, and sustain local hunting culture.
