Tompkins Conservation is a premier organization dedicated to the preservation and rewilding of some of the most pristine natural landscapes in Patagonia and southern Chile. Founded by Douglas and Kristine Tompkins, the organization has made significant strides in environmental conservation by acquiring vast swathes of land to create national parks. With Kristine at the helm following her husband's passing, the mission to protect and restore the region continues to thrive. Under her leadership, the organization has successfully transferred over 14.7 million acres of land to both the Chilean and Argentinian governments to establish fifteen national parks, effectively creating a new 'Route of Parks'.

Through innovative programs, Kristine is not only focusing on land protection but is also spearheading rewilding initiatives, reintroducing native species like jaguars and anteaters. Additionally, the organization advocates against harmful practices such as toxic salmon farming, contributing to marine ecosystem preservation. Tompkins Conservation inspires people worldwide to connect with nature and engage in conservation efforts, ensuring that these stunning natural environments endure for future generations.
