Oncovallès

Oncovallès, officially the Fundació Privada d’Ajuda Oncològica, is a private foundation based in Granollers, Barcelona, supporting people affected by cancer and their families in the Vallès Oriental region. Its work combines practical support, information and community engagement, with services designed to help patients and relatives navigate the experience of illness. The foundation offers attention and guidance, therapeutic workshops and informational activities, alongside initiatives such as its “Apadrina una Perruca” programme. It also shares cancer-related information through an online library, publications, magazines and books.

Oncovallès brings the community together through events and fundraising activities, including its annual benefit dinner and the OnCodines Trail. Its programme also features scientific discussions, public information tables, awards and creative initiatives such as the Pepi Pagès Prize, which invites writing about living with illness. The foundation works with volunteers, healthcare professionals, local councils, businesses and other collaborators. Through these services and activities, Oncovallès aims to sustain support for people living with cancer while promoting awareness, knowledge and solidarity across its local community.
