About OndernemersPrijs Haaglanden
OndernemersPrijs Haaglanden is a prominent brand that aims to foster networking among entrepreneurs in the Haaglanden region, enhance connections between businesses and local/regional governments, and engage educational institutions with the business community. As the ultimate recognition for excellent entrepreneurship, the OndernemersPrijs Haaglanden annually celebrates exceptional business achievements. The most recent winner, Sylvia Grootscholten of Uniglobe Westland, was awarded the prestigious prize in November 2020.
The foundation behind OndernemersPrijs Haaglanden, in collaboration with VNO-NCW regio Den Haag, successfully organizes this competition, which attracts numerous nominees from the municipalities of Den Haag, Leidschendam-Voorburg, Rijswijk, Wassenaar, and Zoetermeer. Starting from 2023, an additional prize called the Young Entrepreneur Award will be presented to successful entrepreneurs under the age of 35 who have been in business for a maximum of three years.
