Ondiaper

Ondiaper is a startup focused on using technology to support the safety and health of babies and children. Its first product is a smart diaper designed to help parents and nurses monitor an infant’s wellbeing and respond promptly to potential concerns. The programmable gadget can send alerts if a baby moves away from the crib or approaches dangerous areas in a building.

It is also designed to notify parents or a nurse about changes in the baby’s body temperature and to report when the diaper is wet, with the company stating that this alert can arrive in less than a second. Ondiaper aims to develop specialized baby products that may help ease parental anxiety and support infant health and immunity. The company is currently at TRL 5: its prototype has completed initial technical tests and simulations and is being prepared for testing in a real-world experimental environment.

Ondiaper plans to serve parents and nurses, operate in the Netherlands, and offer products through baby and maternity stores, with services available across the EU. The team says it uses customer feedback to guide future offerings
