Ondova develops an intelligent sensing platform that helps ear-worn devices understand the people wearing them. Licensed to device makers through software development kits and reference designs, the platform uses a product’s existing speaker as a sensing element, avoiding the need for dedicated optical, capacitive, or inertial sensors. A compact analog front end reads subtle changes in the speaker’s response, while Ondova software interprets the signal through the device’s standard audio interfaces.

Supported capabilities include enrolled-wearer identification, heart-rate monitoring for general wellness, wear detection, and tap or gesture recognition. Fit and seal measurement is in validation, alongside other emerging features. The platform is designed for in-ear, on-ear, and over-ear products, including earbuds, headphones, communication headsets, and hearing devices.

Ondova offers an estimation SDK, a documented analog reference design, and evaluation hardware with a demonstration application.
