It uses material, machine and market data to match packaging requirements with suitable materials, helping businesses make decisions based on evidence rather than guesswork. Brand owners receive a ranked shortlist of materials suited to their product, production line and the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). When specifications are incomplete, Quartermaster supplements them with test data. Its team can then conduct structured trials to help qualify packaging and support launches on time and within budget.

For material suppliers, the platform identifies relevant demand from brand owners, estimates the potential revenue of opportunities and shows how materials scored and where they fell short. These insights can also help suppliers understand where their portfolio performs and where product development may be needed. Quartermaster’s predictive system assesses how materials may perform when formed, filled and sealed, narrowing testing to promising options.
