One Health EJP

One Health EJP is a prominent European consortium uniting 43 esteemed veterinary and medical laboratories and institutions, including the Med-Vet-Net Association. Established to address critical public health challenges, it focuses on the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health through an integrated One Health approach. The consortium engages in advanced research addressing issues such as antimicrobial resistance (AMR), foodborne zoonoses, and emerging infectious threats.

One Health EJP actively undertakes educational initiatives, providing a range of training programs, including doctoral courses, short-term missions, and summer schools, aimed at nurturing the next generation of One Health scientists. The collaborative network facilitates the dissemination of scientific findings, translating research into policy and actionable strategies.

With 24 Joint Research Projects (JRP) and a range of impactful initiatives, One Health EJP not only fosters scientific innovation but also promotes public health resilience across Europe. Its commitment to building a sustainable One Health framework is supported by funding from the EU’s Horizon 2020 program.
