OneMove

OneMove is a Kuopio-based sports and training community operated by One Move ry, founded in 2019. The organization brings together bodyweight training, movement and mobility practice, and Sportskarate, with an emphasis on accessible exercise, personal progress, and the enjoyment of training together. Its bodyweight and movement sessions help participants develop strength, endurance, and mobility using exercises that can be adapted to different abilities and fitness levels. The movement and mobility group is open to everyone and meets weekly.

OneMove also offers Sportskarate training, including beginner courses for children and activities for young people. Children’s courses have welcomed participants from around six years old, while the club supports both recreational practice and competition. Its athletes compete nationally and internationally, and the club has earned medals at Finnish championships.

Training takes place at the Savilahden liikunta- ja tapahtumakeskus in Kuopio. The club’s coaching is led by Petri Toivanen, whose background includes decades of karate practice and experience in movement coaching.
