ONE is an arts-infused, community-based nonprofit focused on adolescent recovery, prevention, and early intervention. Its guiding belief is that human connection can support recovery from life’s struggles. The organization seeks to inspire young people, their loved ones, and community members through awareness, conversation, and practical support.
ONE offers three avenues of support: online, in the community, and through its school-based ONE On Campus program. Community offerings include a free weekly meeting for young people featuring guest innovators and artists; meetings for parents and loved ones; speakers addressing relevant topics; and events designed to encourage positive change. A nationwide assistance line helps parents find useful resources.
ONE On Campus raises awareness and empowers students through lunchtime drop-in spaces and peer-led support groups guided by trained faculty advisors using the program’s curriculum. Its Exchange initiative offers students an alternative to suspension through program attendance, applying restorative justice principles. ONE also produces awareness events and showcases that bring people together around issues affecting young people.
