ONG FEDE

ONG Femmes et Développement (FEDE) is a Malian nonprofit organization working since 2002 to promote women’s rights, equality and solidarity, and to strengthen vulnerable communities. Active across Mali, from Kayes to Ménaka and Sikasso to Tombouctou, FEDE provides locally rooted support to women and populations affected by crisis.

Its programs address protection and the defense of rights, food security, health and nutrition, and non-food assistance, shelter, water, sanitation and hygiene. The organization also supports education and vocational training, helping people develop skills and build greater independence. Other areas of work include climate security, peace and security, and stronger local governance.

FEDE responds to the needs of displaced people, refugees and vulnerable host communities through community-based initiatives and humanitarian projects. Its activities include awareness-raising on gender-based violence and malnutrition, as well as emergency, multisectoral assistance. The organization shares updates, reports and original discussions through its news channels and Voix & Impact podcast, which brings together experts and community actors to explore development and humanitarian issues.
